Spirit Guides

How often do we think, “Is anyone with us?”

Yes, is the simple answer.  We all have spirit guides of one form or another.

From our birth we have a spirit guide in the shape of a Door Keeper, Guardian Angel or Gate Keeper and their role is to look after us and help contact your other spirit guides.  This guide is normally seen as a soldier, warrior type figure to protect you in times of need.  Our normal spirit guides come in all ages from all countries and backgrounds.  (There is no need for them all to be Kings and Queens)

They chose to be with us to help and guide us throughout a period of time. As we learn, they also learn, and there is often a time when they move on and others step in.  When this happens we may feel alone, shall we say, but we are never alone there is always a team of helpers, mates, guides or whatever you like to call them with you, no matter what.

Some friends or relatives that have passed away may also now have chosen to be one of your guides, not to run your life for you but to assist when it’s needed.  Often one guide will know more about one subject than another so when we are thinking, working or talking about that they will assist by using us in a pleasant way, this is nothing to be afraid of.  We can have hundreds there in the background, all waiting to assist us.

One of the most important things we should be asking for is protection. Protection from anything negative which could affect us as we become more sensitive, also protection for our family, friends, animals and, of course, our home, all of which are important to each and every one of us.

We can have a conversation in our mind with our guides explaining how we think and what we want to be able to achieve in life in general, this gives them a better understanding of where we are coming from.  We also have to learn what is in our imagination and what is being given to us in our minds; there is a very thin line between this.  Often the voice we hear all the time in our head, which we consider is ours, might be one of your own guides.  Look and listen more to the words that you hear to see if they are normally words that you would use.  Look for signals in your body that would indicate communication, such as goosepimples and shivers down your arms and legs.  These can often be confirmation from the spirit.   This helps you spot the times that your guides are talking to you.

One thing I have noticed is that people here in the UK often have a North American guide, whereas in most other countries these are not there.  I put this down to the fact that the North Americans can blend in with us more, due to the way we think and act.  Often they will leave us a feather as a gift for something we have achieved.  We need to look for them, often in the most unusual places, and say thank you, after all it’s a gift to us from our spirit helpers.

We can improve our communication with them by talking to them in our mind, asking them for more, remember you only want the best as second best is not good enough.

We need to recognise how easy that communication with our spirit guides is.  Using your thoughts we can ask simply for help each and every day, not only for ourselves but also for our family.

A very good friend of mine, Patrick Gamble, has his main guide, John, who paints wonderful paintings in oil, on canvas.  Patrick’s background is that of a builder so I found it strange one night when he had the urge to start painting on a canvas, using some oil paints he had been given to throw away.  Today we see him paint your guide of a loved one who is with you, in an hour and when you see the finished painting you think, “Wow.”  Yet it’s the guide who has used Patrick that has done the painting.  No matter how many times I see him paint I am always amazed by the work that he does.

The more that you communicate with your helpers the easier it becomes. Often we have to rely on others to confirm who our helpers are, as not everyone will be able to see them.  Trust is the main thing.  I trust my helpers like no one else on earth, as I know they will not let me down.

Now is the time for you to spend a few moments each day looking for what you yourself would want to know and learn with your own guides.

Guides do also work alongside other people’s guides, helping make the world a better place in which to live for our children and us.

What we don’t seem to see very much today, is when a guide will take a person into a trance like state and talk through them.  This does not necessarily mean that the person’s voice changes, but their mannerisms and character can change, like male to female.  When you get an opportunity of seeing someone work like this ask as many questions as you can like ‘Who they are? Where are they from?  What was their life like? How did they pass?’  And so much more to build a picture up in your mind of how they lived.

We often hear of psychic surgeons working here in the UK and abroad.  This is where again a spirit guide, who would have been a Doctor or Surgeon whilst they were alive, helps that person to help others by psychic surgery on many different levels with many types of medical conditions.

If you want to see or understand your own guides more, ASK in your head but often it takes time.

I am very luck as one of the gifts my own spirit guides have given me is to be able le to see other peoples guides if I ask.  I don’t want to see them all the time, as it would encroach in my life.

I have dedicated my life to helping others, no matter who they are or where they come from, and I could not do the work I do without my own spirit guides.
